Tampons with applicators are almost impossible to find on the mainland/on the continent.
The women of Europe do not fancy tampons with applicators which means the stores of Europe do not stock tampons with applicators. So, if you are a tampon+applicator type of girl, then I highly recommend bringing a box of your favorite tampons – or even your least favorite tampons – when making a trip to Europe, otherwise your choices are going to be o.b. or the regional equivalent of o.b.
No one wants to be caught in a period dress, so do the right thing and pack wisely.
